Hi, I am Juno.
Songwriter from Lisbon. I make quiet songs loudly, mostly with a guitar, a borrowed keyboard and whoever is in the room.
Songs that sound like a warm kitchen at 2am.
I started busking on a corner in Alfama when I was nineteen, with a guitar that had five strings and a hat that had no coins. The songs got better, the hat got heavier, and in 2020 a tiny label pressed 300 pink copies of my first single.
Side B is my second full-length record. We recorded it live in one room over four days, with the windows open and the neighbours singing along. It is the closest I have come to sounding like the inside of my head.
When I am not on tour I teach guitar to kids, print my own posters on a riso machine and make far too much soup.
